The NANUK 988T is a long, deep and rugged case, part of Nanuk's configurable 988 series of tough waterproof cases. The 988T is a special order model that has corner caps in place of polyurethane wheels. This serves to make the case lighter and better suited for team-carry deployment as well as in helping to adhere to agency restrictions against one-person carry. The NANUK 988T also has a lower profile than the 988, making it a good choice for efficient warehouse stacking and tight spaces. As with the 988 and 988M, this model is equipped with three ultra-strong soft-grip handles and comes with six PowerClaw latches to ensure that it never opens accidentally.
Waterproof and dustproof to IP67 level, the NANUK 988T was built to survive. Its long and deep interior makes it ideal for transporting and storing tripods, lighting and camera equipment, telescopes, measuring equipment, oxygen tanks, military gear, power tools, industrial equipment, and more. Like all NANUK cases, the 988T is made of impact-resistant yet lightweight NK7 resin. With rounded corners, thick, strong walls, and oversized details, it will take whatever is thrown at it.
