The NANUK 988 is a long, deep, waterproof case and part of Nanuk's configurable 988 series of tough rugged cases. Designed to protect and mobilise large quantities of equipment, the 988 is the base version (with the others being the 988T and 988M). This model is equipped with three ultra-strong handles and two strong polyurethane wheels with stainless steel ball bearings, making it suitable for any terrain.
The long and deep interior of the NANUK 988 makes it an ideal case for transporting and storing tripods, lighting equipment, camera equipment, telescopes, measuring equipment, oxygen tanks, military gear, hunting gear, chainsaws, power tools, industrial equipment, and much more.
Like all protective waterproof cases from NANUK, the 988 is constructed of NK7 resin, making it impact-resistant yet lightweight. With rounded corners, thick, strong walls, and oversized details, this case will take whatever is thrown at it. Equipped with six of NANUK's PowerClaw latches, the indestructible 988 will never open accidentally and has been moulded with aggressive ribs and taller feet to make it highly stackable.
